Rietveld refinements
published on 2009-06-04 15:29:29 by Chrysler
A few remarks and questions concerning the Rietveld Refinements: -The fits were done in the range of ~8 to 80 degrees, the peak at ~6° 2Theta was simply left out. For what reason? - The background fitting of the steamed and calcined sample looks horrible to me. This might explain the worse Rb compared to the non heat treated samples at first. - I'm not a friend of overall isotropic B Parameters. Why not refine the temperature parameter of the heavy scatteres La/Ce? Regards Chrysler
