Chloropropylamine
published on 2009-04-06 15:51:27 by Ernesto
Interesting article. I wondered that no information is given about the used compound chloropropylamine, the key compound for the functionalization of the carbon. It is a highly unstable compound since it can react with itself. Who was the supplier of this compound or how was it made? Anyway, I made It myself and tried to functionalize carbonaceous materials with it. I failed, it did not work. Is there a certain “trick” to use the chloropropylamine for this purpose? Best Regards Ernesto.
